Common questions and answers
about the
H20 Stinger™.
Q: How can the H20 Stinger™
benefit me?
A: The H20 Stinger™ attached to your rig will
give you the speed of a rotary, the maneuverability of a
cable tool.
Q: How much is my investment
in the H2O Stingerä?
A: On approved credit, you can get the H2O
Stingerä
installed on your rig with little or nothing down and make
payments of around $2,000.00/month.
Q:
I am only
making $150 per day, how can I afford the above example?
(At $5 per foot, 3 feet per hour working a 10-hour
day)
A: If you only increase your drilling speed
to 20 feet per hour earning $5 per foot you would be
earning $100.00/hr. If you decease to working a 6-hour
day for 5 days you would earn $3,000.00/ Week . As
you can see the H20 Stinger™ not only decreases
your working time, but also greatly increases you
earning capabilities!
Q:
Why not buy a used rotary?
A: For the same amount of money spent on the H20
Stinger™, you would find a 25-30 year old machine with
years of wear and tear verses a new top head rotary with a
warranty.
Q: I have a backlog of wells,
but am not sure if I have enough work to support the added
payment.
A: Most cable tool drillers do little to no
advertising, yet lose wells because of not being able to get
to them fast enough. Many drillers are losing wells that
they don’t even know about because word gets around that
they are backed up for months and the potential customers
don’t bother to even call. Most drillers say that they lose
15 wells or more (that they know about) due to drilling
speed. Not only will you keep from losing the wells, but
word that you are available for a quick well will get you
more business.
Q: Why use a portable
compressor?
A: After a certain amount of time, all compressors
require service. If the compressor is rig mounted, then your
whole rig goes with the compressor when it is time for
service. With a portable, only the compressor goes to have
service and you can still drill with the cable tool or rent
another portable. The other factor is the weight that a
mounted compressor would add.
Q:
How long does it take to get
the H20 Stinger™ installed on my rig?
A:
The average installation takes approximately 2 weeks
to custom install the H20 Stinger™ on your cable tool
rig.
Q: What do you mean “custom
installed”?
A: The installation is custom to your rig. All hoses
are cut to length. The rotary mast, control panel and
hydraulic tank are painted to match your cable tool derrick,
in order to blend in with your current colors.
Q: You say this is 100 % cable
and 100% rotary, what do you mean.
A: The H20 Stinger™ does not impede cable
tool drilling. It is capable of running independent of the
cable tool at air pressures up to 350 P.S.I.
Q: If I get this, what will my
customers think?
A: You are busy because of your reputation and
ability to produce quality wells at an acceptable depth.
The drillers using the H20 Stinger™ are capable of
offering the same quality wells because of using a
low-pressure compressor.
